Common questions answered
Is tile roof painting just cosmetic?
No — it's the fade that's cosmetic. The seal-and-paint system stops porous tiles absorbing water, which is what causes moss growth, frost damage and deterioration. Looking good again is the bonus.
Do you replace broken tiles first?
Yes — cracked or broken tiles are replaced during preparation. Painting over a broken tile just hides a leak in the making.
What colours can I choose?
The finish coats come in a full colour range — keep the original colour or change the whole look of the house. We'll show you the options at quote time.
How long does a painted tile roof last?
The coating and waterproofing carry a written 10-year warranty. The warranty is the floor, not the ceiling — a well-prepared tile roof repaint routinely outlasts it.
How much does it cost compared to replacing the roof?
